Mediahunter Studios and its affiliated companies maintain this privacy policy governing how we collect, use, and share information when users access our websites, mobile applications, TV applications, games, or related services linking to this policy.

We believe that you should always know what data we collect from you and how we use it, and that you should have control over both. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about our data practices. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.

Key Points

  • No registration required. We do not require that you register with us or provide personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number to use our services. We will never collect this data unless you choose to provide it, either by contacting us or creating an account with us.
  • Free apps are supported by advertising. Mediahunter Studios offers users free apps. To pay for the maintenance and enhancement of these free apps, we monetize their use, primarily through advertising. To do this and to make adverts more relevant for you, we may receive some personal information such as your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA or AAID) and general location.
  • A paid alternative is available. Where offered, you can make In-App Purchases (IAPs) in our free apps or pay for a premium version. This removes advertising and significantly reduces the amount of data we collect from your use of our apps.
  • You are in control. Your device gives you controls to limit the data we collect and how we use it (see Tracking Technologies below). Ultimately, you can also choose to delete and stop using an app, at which point any data collection by that app will cease.
  • By using our apps, you agree to the collection and use of certain data as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

You do not need to provide any personal information to start using our services, and creating an account is optional. We will never make your use of our apps public, other than occasionally quoting user reviews posted in app stores on our website or in other publicity.

If you choose to provide information, we may collect:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, username, and password when you create an account. We use this information to authenticate your account and will keep it secure.
  • Profile Information: Optional details like preferences, avatar, and display settings
  • Payment Data: Billing and shipping addresses, payment method details (processed securely through payment providers)
  • Communications: If you contact us directly (via an app, our website, or email), you provide your name, email address, and — when contacting us from an app — an app ID. We keep the content of your message and contact information to enable us to respond to your request.
  • User Content: Any content you create, upload, or share within our applications

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: How you interact with our services, features used, content viewed, and actions taken
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, browser type, and language settings
  • Advertising Identifiers: Your device’s advertising ID (IDFA on Apple devices, AAID on Android devices), used to serve and measure advertising in our free apps
  • Network Information: IP address, internet service provider, and connection type
  • Location Data: General geographic location based on IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location without consent)

Information from Third Parties

  • Social Media: If you authenticate via Facebook, Google, or other social platforms, we receive basic profile information
  • Analytics Partners: Aggregated insights about user behavior and app performance
  • Advertising Partners: Information to help serve and measure advertisements

How We Use Your Information

We process personal information to:

Advertisers and Data Partners

If you have not purchased a premium version of an app or made an ad-removing In-App Purchase, we may provide third-party advertising and data partners with information about your activity in our apps, your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA or AAID), and your general location. These partners may use this information to serve you contextual advertising based on your interests and activity, or in location-based products such as location audiences, location analytics, and measurement.

Ad-Free Alternative

Where available, you can make an In-App Purchase or upgrade to a premium version of our apps. This removes advertising and significantly reduces the amount of data we collect from your use of our apps, as the advertising-related sharing described above no longer takes place.

Advertising

Our games show ads from SofAds. To choose, show and measure ads, the app sends SofAds information about the app and the TV (platform, manufacturer, model, operating system version, screen size and language), your IP address, your consent choices and an advertising identifier where your choices allow it. For some ad partners the TV requests the ad directly from that partner, which then also receives your IP address. If the app has no consent screen of its own and you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the SofAds consent screen asks for your choice when the app starts. You can change that choice later in the app under Settings > Ad privacy choices. Where no TV advertising identifier is available or allowed, SofAds uses a random install ID stored by the app. SofAds privacy policy: https://sofads.com/privacy/

LG TVs: On LG TVs, and only after you agree, the advertising identifier is the LG Unique Device ID (LGUDID). Without your agreement the app uses its own install ID instead.

Samsung TVs: On Samsung TVs, the advertising identifier is the Tizen Identifier for Advertising (TIFA), sent together with your Limit Ad Tracking setting. You can reset TIFA and switch on Limit Ad Tracking in the TV’s privacy settings. With Limit Ad Tracking on, only non-personalized ads are shown.

Third-Party SDKs and Services

SofAds: Our apps show ads served by SofAds. What data is involved, and how to change your choices, is described in the “Advertising” section above and in the SofAds privacy policy.

Earlier versions: Versions of our apps released before version 1.1.0 may still include the Bright Data SDK. You can opt out of it in the app’s Settings by turning off the Web Indexing switch.

Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

Managing Tracking

  • Device Settings: Adjust privacy settings on your mobile device or TV, including limiting ad tracking or resetting your advertising identifier (IDFA/AAID)
  • Opt-Out Tools: Use industry opt-out platforms like the Digital Advertising Alliance
  • App Settings: Access privacy controls within our applications
  • Deleting the App: You can choose to delete and stop using an app at any time, at which point any data collection by that app will cease

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Update inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion: Request removal of your personal data under certain conditions
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection: Object to certain processing activities
  • Restriction: Limit how we process your data
  • Withdrawal: Revoke consent where processing is based on consent
  • Appeal: Contest our decisions regarding your privacy requests

Rights by Region

European Union / EFTA / UK / Switzerland: If you are located in the European Union or an EFTA State, you can confidentially contact our privacy team by emailing [email protected]. Your rights under the GDPR are as follows:

  1. You have the right to be informed about our processing of your personal data;
  2. You have the right to have your personal data corrected if it is inaccurate and to have incomplete personal data completed;
  3. You have the right to object to us processing your personal data;
  4. You have the right to have your personal data erased, otherwise known as the ‘right to be forgotten’;
  5. You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, and information on how we process it, commonly known as a ‘data subject access request’;
  6. You have the right to move, copy, or transfer your personal data (‘data portability’); and
  7. You have rights in relation to automated decision making, including profiling.

If you wish to raise a concern about our use of your information, you have the right to do so with your local supervisory authority. In the UK, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), which has enforcement powers and can investigate compliance with data protection laws — see ico.org.uk.

California (CCPA/CPRA): Right to know, delete, correct, and opt-out of sale/sharing. Protection against discrimination for exercising rights.

Virginia / Colorado / Connecticut: Similar rights with appeal mechanisms for denied requests.

Opt-Out Options

Users in applicable jurisdictions may decline:

  • Targeted advertising based on behavioral data
  • We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals
